I took an extra long weekend off from all my work. This is a very special day as we remember the men and women who gave up their lives for us.

Don't want to forget the men and women who are currently fighting for our freedom or standing guard in a foreign country. They give up their homes, jobs, family and friends to protect our rights.

Being gone even for a year is hard; please, always remember to stop and say thank you to any person in a military uniform.

What have you done this week and weekend, in your place of business or your family to remember the seriousness of today? Was this just another holiday for you?

The turmoil in the world places an additional burden on our Country and on those who volunteer to protect our way of life. Let's all try to make the remembrance a year around activity.
