He was born with muscular dystrophy and  confined to a wheel chair. He had to have constant care, unable to cook or dress himself. His maximum weight was 90 lbs, at the age of 22, when he was killed  by a P-51 that crashed into the VIP section at a Reno airshow. Let me share a few of the things that this young man accomplished in his short life span:

• started a successful business in high school
• graduated "Magna cum laude" from Arizona State University
• owned a web hosting company
  
• had just started a social-media marketing company
• he was a volunteer with Arizona Helping Hands, serving as marketing and fund raising director.

Michael Wogan was an inspiration to all who knew him; I had the privilege of knowing him and his family. The Sunday issue, September 18, 2011, of the Arizona Republic, gave him front page coverage plus a lot more information on the inside.

I am going to cut out the article and have it framed. Next time I feel that I can't do something or it's to hard, I will only have to look at the article. Copies of this story will be included in my hand out material to clients that are ready to give up on their business.

Count your blessings please keep the Wogan family in your prayers. Michael has two other brothers who also suffer from muscular dystrophy,  and remember that where there is a will there is a way!

More that anything else, what keeps a person going in the midst of adversity is having a sense of purpose. It is the fuel that powers persistence.
