Time to Review your Connections
As a small business owner you are in the people business and often time, the people you connect with are the difference between business growth and business stagnation.
Today, make a list of your ten most important connection, do not include family members.
By each name put an answer to the following questions
- What have you gained from this connection?
- What do you expect to gain from this connection?
- When do you expect to gain a benefit from this connection?
- What do you have to do to earn and to keep this connection?
The best way to receive is to first give. What can you give now to each of these connections? ( had one client that gave a subscription to my blog) My gift is either a book I enjoyed or CD, both with a message pertinent to their business or life.
Now make a list of 5 things that you want: more clients, advice, new product, etc.Next make a list of five people that you believe can help you obtain of of your "wants". By each of their names, list something of value (family or business) that you can give each of them.
You now have 15 people that can make a difference in your business life. Concentrate on them every day.
