The Legs your business stands on....
All businesses have three major components:
Take a look at each of these areas. Spend a few minutes today and write down what you are doing in each area. For the stool to be in balance, each of the areas have to be given the necessary amount of attention to complete the job. Time is not a factor in balancing each leg, more time, for example should be given to the marketing leg but the work in the other two areas has to be complete.
Your initial Strategic Focus Plan addressed each of these areas; follow the plan and be accountable for the action items in each area.

Imagine that each of these three components are the legs on a stool, and that your business is sitting on top of the stool. The removal of any of these legs will cause the business to fall (fail). This is the best way I know to demonstrate how important each of these three components are to the survival and growth of a business.
All three areas have to be "ongoing" at the same time; they are equally important.Take a look at each of these areas. Spend a few minutes today and write down what you are doing in each area.
