Networking for others..... staying in touch for you

Providing extra value to your customers/clients is something every business owner strives to achieve. The following suggestion is inexpensive and can provide that "extra touch of care".

The following can work in any of the following locations:
  • your office
  • your store/shop
  • a coffee "shop"

This is set up on a weekly basis:

  • set a day during the week (best days are Tuesday, Wednesday of Thursday)
  • Set a time, recommend 7am to 8:30 am
  • Have coffee, donuts, bagels, etc
  • In your next newsletter invite your customers/clients to come, meet and network with your other customers/clients ( if your list is to big, select the people who are your best customers and invite them by separate e-mail and then remind them with a phone call one or two days before your meeting)
  • if you have prospects, invite them also
  • Have name tags available

Be patient, like any other marketing process it takes time to grow and bear fruit. Staying in touch is one of the best marketing things that one can do. You are providing a value to those in attendance and it is less time consuming and less expensive than having  individual meetings.

There are a lot of ways to set up this marketing session. People will come if there is value. Some mornings you might invite a special speaker ( limit talk to 20 minutes max)

Marketing is what grows your business and this is an excellent way of providing value for your clients as well as for yourself.
